I'm sorry to have taken so long getting back to you. I received your book and thank you for sharing. I'm sending $100 for as many more copies as that will get me. I want to share it with several people. You have done a great job.!! I admire your persistence and skill to create such a fine finished product. It is not only useful but carries the personal touch much loved by cookbook readers. I've been too busy to try any recipes yet, but I have read it and enjoyed... Thank you, and again, CONGRATULATIONS!

Sally, I'm bowled over. What a great, big beautiful book. It's so comprehensive. I had no idea there would soooo many recipes as well as so much reflecting and dissecting of so many things. (Nine cups of coffee a day? Yeesh!) Maybe best of all in my case, I've been looking for additional recipes to add to my vegetarian file, which has been sadly neglected the last few years. I ain't going hungry now, that's for sure.

Good for you. It's terrific!

Sally's in the Kitchen offers everything from soup to nuts --literally-- from the marvelous cover photo of Sally in her cozy, inviting kitchen to the complete index. There's even a biography of Irma Rombauer, author of the immortal Joy of Cooking. (She was in her 40s with virtually no experience cooking when, suddenly widowed and in need of an income, she wrote and self-published the first of her world-famous book.)

But the best part of Miller's book are the recipes: the veggie burger, stuffed mushrooms, cucumbers and cream, vidalia onion bake, sweet potato pancakes, Oriental dumplings, hot and sour soup, mushroom dinner --that's just for starters, the ones I'm making this week.

Sally's in the Kitchen will always have a place on my cookbook shelf.

The cookbook is super! I like the way you laid it out by season and with all the great commentary. These recipes look fantastic -- I'll be sure to try some while I'm off from work and having the baby. As I enter this new phase in my life, I hope to become a better cook, and it looks like your cookbook will help me out. Thanks!

Sally, your new cookbook has some wonderful recipes which I shall try. The book has a user-friendly approach, and instructions are clear and do-able. It has a good picture of you, too!

I liked your cookbook. It was interesting. I liked the informal style and the artwork. I had some difficulty with the organization: I'm used to scientific papers with headings and subheadings. For someone who doesn't cook, it even tempted me with recipes!
