OMG, This Was the Best Fashion Collection From...
I haven’t been this excited about a collection in a while.
Dries Van Noten’s Spring 2027 collection designed by Julian Klausner, was one of the standouts from Paris Fashion Week this week..
Vogue called it his best Dries collection yet, and ELLE loved the unexpected glamour, joy and more-is-more styling.
It’s playful, sophisticated, colorful and incredibly artistic.
And as you know, you’ll rarely see me in prints or color. My closet is full of mostly black and neutrals.
But this collection has me wanting to bring color in through accessories.
I’m not waiting until spring. I’m doing it right now.
The way Julian clustered the brooches together was stunning. Pearls and gold chains layered with colored beads. Jewelry over graphic tees and shirts. Pieces we already own suddenly look fresh and modern.
It immediately made me look for my grandmothers jewelry, like a kid in a candy shop.
Here are three ways to try right now:
1. Pile on the Necklaces
Mix pearls, gold chains and colored beads over a graphic tee, then add your signature jacket. Don’t make it too precious. That’s what makes it feel modern.
2. Cluster the Brooches
Forget wearing just one. Put a few together on a sweater, jacket or cluster them at the top of a button-down shirt.
3. Add Color Beads in the Mix
If your wardrobe is mostly black and neutrals, add color with beads, a drop gemstone or an enameled brooch. One unexpected hit can change the whole look.

The takeaway?
Have fun!
Pull out jewelry you haven’t worn in years and start putting it together differently. Sometimes the freshest styling idea is already sitting in your jewelry box.

Sally
