The one affirmation that transformed my mind

You’re not going to believe what happened a few weeks ago.

After decades of waking up in the morning with my mind racing about what I needed to do,

what might go wrong, or what was already wrong, something different happened.

I woke up to these words that popped into my mind:

I am calmly active. I am actively calm.

I felt an exhale.

I listened and waited. Then the words came again:

I am calmly active. I am actively calm.

My whole body relaxed. There was no tension anywhere. No negative thoughts came.

I lay there thinking, wow, did I finally train my mind? Did it work?

I was amazed.

For the past few weeks, I’ve continued saying these words every morning and throughout the day:

I am calmly active. I am actively calm.

I feel calmer and more present, which gives me more clarity and focus. Ideas that once

overwhelmed me now feel edited down to what is important and what I can let go of.

My mind feels calm. Neutral.

What happens to you when you say these words?
